Recorded on tape and re-manipulated by the artist several times, more than a transcription of the expulsion process (literally ‘oust’, poetically and phonetically ‘owst’) the album is a ‘retrospective spell’ where tensions and indecisions, resistances, deviations and relapses constitute the process of the archaeologist attempting to retrieve from sight the mangled contents of what poured out.
